The New Century American Irish-Arts Company is a private corporation, not for profit, dedicated to the artistic furtherance, cultivation, and preservation of Irish traditional music and dancing in the United States. We help traditional musicians, dancers, teachers, and researchers produce vocational work that brings traditional culture to the public.

    Donna Long (piano, fiddle), Peter Brice (voice, button accordion), and Samantha Suplee (fiddle) present traditional music from Ireland and Irish America, drawing on a repertoire of jigs, reels, and 17th-century harp music.

  • THE BALTIMORE IRISH TENOR BANJO SUMMIT

    15–17 November 2024. Baltimore, Maryland

    The Third Annual Irish Tenor Banjo Summit takes over Creative Alliance on November 15th and 16th! Join us for a full weekend of dancing, performances, and workshops celebrating traditional Irish music.  The brunch, talks, and sessions on November 17 to cap the weekend will take place at the Green Room in Hampden.

  • THE MOUNT CLARE CONNECTION

    6 December 2024, 7:00 p.m. | Cockeysville, Maryland

    The Mount Clare Connection plays Irish and American traditional music in regional styles from Maryland.  At its core is an expansive duet between the button accordion (Peter Brice) and the fiddle (Joanna Clare), supported by rich accompaniment on the guitar, five-string banjo, and tenor banjo (Richard Osban).
